Zoë is a Senior Research Scientist with CSIRO Environment and leads the Observations - Greenhouse & Ozone Depleting Substances team which make multi-decadal, high-quality greenhouse gas observations across global networks, with a particular focus on the Southern Hemisphere, Australia and its Antarctic Territories. The team uses these data to quantify the long-term atmospheric composition change driving climate change and stratospheric ozone depletion, and to improve our understanding of the biogeochemical cycling of these radiatively important trace gases.
Zoë has a particular interest in bringing her team’s atmospheric science capability to urban environments to help deliver actionable information to mitigate methane (and other greenhouse gas) emissions in cities.
